He crosses the Ganmek Ocean to the north Tendril coast, making a quick detour to Elnerd Mel Hauk for fresh supplies where they also take on Kergin, Anya, and Ilanya as paying passengers and laborers. Resupplied, Fenwin's ship makes the long journey back south, briefly stopping at Gent before continuing all the way to Delco and finally up the Errfulfel River to Errfulfel City. Kergin, Anya, and Ilanya do not disembark at all at Gent and take leave from the ship at Delco.
Fenwin's Havrik expedition is recorded as a failure. No substantial trade goods were brought back at the full expense of ships, men, and supplies.
Caly is born to Dulfen and Galina.
Lord Gorenfold sells his captured Errfulfel ships to Telworth in Aaron's Hold.
Kergin secures boarding for Anya and Ilanya in Delco then travels to Ortund alone.

Telworth's fishing fleet increases to 9 ships by the end of the year.
Disgraced, Kergin leaves Dershwin Manor, swearing to make right of his losses and travels to Anya and Ilanya at Delco- who he never revealed the existence of to his family.
Culfen is born. Son of Ermmel.

Ermmel's wife births a stillborn daughter.
Cyfurrel raises 6,000 professional soldiers and brings them to Errfulfel City.
Cyfurrel distributes his new professional soldiers throughout the empire at forts labeled as Imperial Garrisons. The soldiers take on most of the responsibilities of the previous levied garrisons.
Kergin returns to Delco on the merchant ship he crewed. The ship returns with a load of Eander wood.
Erwin serves in Imperial Ertund at an Imperial Garrison.
Kergin, discovering Anya with another man (a client), kills the man in a fit of rage.

With a substantial military force (200 soldiers supplementing the 400 sailors), Prince Fenwin is received differently at Big Havrik than the last time around.
Fenwin establishes a mission on Big Havrik devoted to Mother Egu's tenets. The mission consists of a main hall, a learning center, a yard, and three dormitories surrounded by a low wall.

Julia is born to Pavel and Mabel.
Lord Clousen dispatches two small warships to the Anduel Strait, under Telworth's command, to intercept foreign ships and charge duties to merchant vessels.
Pavel, Mabel, and Julia travel to Teymon in Merrod.
Pavel establishes a trade house, Teymon Herber Trade House, in Teymon under the name of his father-in-law and begins importing Enhold Mountain iron ingots refined in Errfulfel City from the Errfulfel City Herber Trade House and exporting manufactured silk and Merrod ale back. The Teymon Herber Trade House is a subsidiary of the larger Merrod Trades Guild and Pavel learns from their trade masters- and operates under their permission and protection, at a cost.

While he is busy conducting business in the south and east Anduel, six ships of Telworth's fishing fleet are scuttled at port by commoners revolting against heavy tax burdens. The remaining five ships were either at sea or managed to escape. Three of them desert. Only two ships return to port after the rioting cools down.
Tayla dies in a fire at Telworth's Tafo estate during the commoner riots.
Telworth returns to Tafo to find his wife dead and the area in ruins following the commoner riots against Lord Clousen.
Telworth leaves Tafo with his warship and his two fishing ships and travels to the Arn.
Telworth begins training impoverished Arn fisherman and local lords how to interdict Errfulfel fishing ships in exchange for manpower and refuge.
Fenwin arrives in Errfulfel City with Jaxillian slaves, Havrik spices, rubies, silver, and exotic fish. The expedition is considered a moderate success. Havrik is essentially given up on as a reasonable major trade center. The only truly valuable tradegood available on Havrik are rubies, but they are scarce and not worth the long and expensive journey to acquire.
Cyfurrel builds a special holding pool for Fenwin's Havrik fish in a central plaza in Errfulfel City.
Lord Clousen, after discovering the turmoil that passed in Tafo and the deficit it caused, expands his foreign fisher interdiction fleet with new prizes in order to maintain incomes sufficient to pay his own tax burden.
