Dornal (1387-NA)
Father: Cyfurrel Mother: Delsa
Son of Cyfurrel and Delsa
Dornal is born.
Cyfurrel raises a professional army of 3,000 under Dornal's command and sends them to Drap Expanse to reinforce the border garrisons, mostly between the Callouse Marshes and Penbrooke.
Nevil enlists under Dornal's command in Drap.
Dornal marries Anageld, a Penbrooke Princess.
Cork is born to Anageld and Dornal.
Mella is born to Anageld and Dornal.
Fendor is born.
A boy is born to Dornal and Anageld. Anageld barely lives through the birthing. The boy does not survive.
Dornal draws help from west Penbrooke and sends his own forces against Herron the Fox. 500 Trefel South Woods mercenaries march with Dornal.
~3,000 Teshren soldiers battle ~2,000 Errfulfel men. While Herron the Fox is driven out of the Callouse Marshes, Dornal's force takes many casualties. Nevil is wounded in the fighting.
Under authorization from Gorden the Errfulfel lords in Errfulfel City raise an additional 5,000 professional soldiers out of Ertund, Trahbeck, and some of Durnhall. The new force is sent to join Dornal in the Callouse Marshes after Erwin, located in Imperial Ertund, declines the command citing a desire to soon retire from command.
Cyfurrel sends Gren of Dermith to the Callouse Marshes to replace Dornal's command and re-engage Herron the Fox.
Dornal returns to Errfulfel City.
Dornal travels to Jeoffry Hold on Dollean.
Dornal is recalled from Dollean. He brings a fleet of 25 Dollean warships and 3,000 sailors to the Trepid Inlet. He also brings a Dollean princess, Gezel.
Cyfurrel raises Army VIII and travels with it to Port of Errfulfel. He transfers command of the force to Dornal and personally sees to the launch of Dornal's fleet. Dornal's fleet is the largest ever to date with 25 Dollean warships, 3,000 sailors, and 5,000 men of Army VIII.
Dornal's Fleet, carrying Army VIII, invades the Cork Islands. He scatters the pirate residents and fisherman alike and names the span of islands after his deceased son.
Errfulfel Watch is built in the Cork Islands at Dornal's command.
Dornal's Fleet faces a pirate fleet in the Mandal Passages. 6 of 25 warships are sunk. 13 pirate ships are sunk, 6 escape.
Dornal's Fleet sieges Morrn Hold. Two pirate ships escape, 7 are scuttled. The pirates hold out behind fortifications and caves for a month before surrendering to Dornal and Army VIII. Around 100 pirates die during the siege. 1050 pirates are taken captive, 50 are hung on Morrn Hold.
250 of Dornal's captive pirates are placed under Crenhallson's custody on Crenhall. 50 of them are promptly hung following trial. Another 500 are taken to Trandeck Cliffs and placed into Crenhallson's custody there. The 200 captives on Crenhall are put to work on the island. The 500 captives at Trandeck Cliffs are put to work for the city. The remaining 300 pirates in Dornal's custody (deemed to be the leaders or most influential in the pack, aside from those already executed) are taken inland to Fort Crenhall.
Gorden extracts information of Cyfurrel II's whereabouts from some of the captive pirates sent to Fort Crenhall by Dornal. To the surprise of all, they are lead to believe that Cyfurrel is actually being held over 1000 miles away at South Ertund, possibly in the Muhlfen Woods.
Cyfurrel II hires a fleet of 34 ships out of Anduel and adds them to Dornal's fleet.
Dornal retires from command of Dornal's Fleet. He passes command of the fleet and Army VIII to his 2nd, Merron of Delco.
Dornal travels to Errfulfel City. Cyfurrel II grants Merron lands in Trahbeck following Dornal's recommendation. Dornal moves to an estate in the south Callouse Marshes.
