Telworth (1382-NA)
Father: N/A Mother: N/A
Telworth the Wise. Brother of Lord Manfer.
Telworth is made Warden of Aaron's Hold. The port is ruled and taxed by his brother King Lord Manfer but Telworth is given the duty of managing the place.
Telworth seizes three fishing boats docked at Aaron's Hold and dispatches them, with new commands, to fish for his own gains.
Telworth seizes several more fishing boats in and around Aaron's Hold, pressing them into his service.
King Lord Manfer, facing complaint and dissent from Anduel lords, strips Telworth of his position as Warden of Aaron's Hold.
Telworth continues profiting from his six fishing ships.
Anduel lords victim to Telworth's seizure of ships complain once more to King Lord Manfer demanding compensation and retribution for their losses. The King ignores their demands indicating Telworth's loss of title was punishment enough and sufficient in stopping him from using authority to seize any more ships.
Lord Gorenfold joins Telworth at Aaron's Hold as an adviser.
Lord Gorenfold travels to Lord Mann in northwest Anduel, in the Arn, with a crew of Telworth's sailors.
Lord Gorenfold sells his captured Errfulfel ships to Telworth in Aaron's Hold.
Telworth's fishing fleet increases to 9 ships by the end of the year.
Telworth increases his fishing fleet by 3 ships, totaling 12 after purchasing Gorenfold's prizes and an additional ship from the lord of Tafo, lord Clousen.
Lord Gorenfold's ship is lost at sea during a storm, losing all hands. Telworth loses a fishing ship in the same storm, decreasing his fleet to 11 ships.
Telworth builds an estate at Tafo and marries lord Clousen's daughter, Tayla
Lord Clousen dispatches two small warships to the Anduel Strait, under Telworth's command, to intercept foreign ships and charge duties to merchant vessels.
Telworth steps down from command of Lord Clousen's warships in the Anduel Strait after only one expedition.
Telworth purchases a state of the art seafaring warship from his brother, King Lord Manfer.
While he is busy conducting business in the south and east Anduel, six ships of Telworth's fishing fleet are scuttled at port by commoners revolting against heavy tax burdens. The remaining five ships were either at sea or managed to escape. Three of them desert. Only two ships return to port after the rioting cools down.
Tayla dies in a fire at Telworth's Tafo estate during the commoner riots.
Telworth returns to Tafo to find his wife dead and the area in ruins following the commoner riots against Lord Clousen.
Telworth leaves Tafo with his warship and his two fishing ships and travels to the Arn.
Telworth begins training impoverished Arn fisherman and local lords how to interdict Errfulfel fishing ships in exchange for manpower and refuge.
Telworth sails to Dannal in the Mandal Passages at his brother King Lord Manfer's request to establish a trading house for early access to Ganmek trade goods headed to Errfulfel.
Telworth, having stayed at Dannal for several months, discovers the island is not nearly as major a trading hub as the locals made it out to be and steals a boat load of goods before heading back to Anduel.
Telworth spends much of the year in his king brother's court.
Telworth begins selling warships from the wealthy eastern Anduel lords to the Arn fishermen turned pirates.
Lord Clousen buys two additional warships through Telworth. His fleet stands 5 ships strong, 3 warships and 2 prize fisher vessels turned warships.
Telworth is given/takes the name Telworth the Wise due to his cunning middleman pirate ship brokering and salesmanship between east Anduel suppliers and west Anduel customers.
Telworth the Wise's brokered ship sales grind to a halt as fewer ships are being sold to west Anduel because they are being put to use by the builders themselves. The demand still exists, though.
Telworth the Wise takes his own warship, stationed out of Mackwin, to the Davley Sea to capture ships which he plans to sell in the Arn.
Telworth the Wise returns to Mackwin with 3 prize ships and spends the winter as an honored guest of Mackwin's lord.
Telworth the Wise travels to the Arn with his small fleet and sells his 3 prize ships.
Despite his many ship sales, Telworth has little personal wealth and actually sells as a sponsored captain in a small Arn fleet, pirating the Anduel Strait.
Telworth the Wise, facing growing numbers of warships and escorts around Anduel and a rapidly decreasing prize rate travels to Manfold Hall, taking command of his brother, King Lord Manfer's harbor defenses.
Lord Manfer, the King of Anduel, makes an agreement with Cyfurrel. He banishes all the pirate lords from Anduel and outlaws piracy. His own brother, Telworth the Wise, is exiled. Aaron's Hold and Mackwin are returned to Anduel rule but Gorn by Sea is granted to Cyfurrel. Lord Henrick protests the deal, having only gotten a payment of trade goods in the deal.
Telworth travels in exile to the eastern Mandals (future Cork Islands) with a few men and establishes a small fishing post on an unnamed island to survive incognito for the time.
Telworth, dissastified with fishing the (future Corks) eastern Mandals, travels with his few trusted men to South Ertund.
Telworth the Wise, under the assumed names Jolwick and Hollister, works as an adviser to South Ertund lords.
Telworth embeds grand stories of wealth and adventure through pirating around Anduel in the minds of the South Ertund people.
Telworth secures sponsorship from a south Ertund lord, Lord Malhwe, and travels to the Mandals with a fleet of ships.
Telworth the Wise recruits many former Anduel pirates living in exile in the Mandals and River Valley South West Coast and begins pirating the Mandals.
Telworth the Wise establishes a base in the Valley of Giants and dispatches pirates under his command to raid the Mandals and River Valley South West Coast.
Telworth experiments with commanding pirates to execute land based raids, stationing pirates in the Plains and Mandal's Reach.
Anduelean pirates start showing up along the River Valley South West Coast and in the Plains Region. Telworth the Wise is spotted in the Valley of Giants and Mandal's Reach by Errfulfel authorities.
Cyfurrel commissions the construction of twenty new warships and hires crew. Telworth the Wise, former pirate lord, is placed in command of the ships and charged with fighting pirates from a station at Trandeck Cliffs.
Cyfurrel II returns from the Halland Slopes by sea. He leaves Castle Eglin for the river Endalm stopping by West Hall for two days on the way, sails down the river to the Tashland Riverway before trekking to the Caleronia Sea at Domdor. 17 days travelling, 2 days at West Hall, 3 days at Domdor. From Domdor he goes by ship to King Gall Port taking 4 days travel and staying in the city 5 days more. Then he takes ship to Gent, 11 days travel with 4 days stay. Sails 13 days to Fort Collis staying there 12 days waiting for storms to pass through the Mandals. Some of Cyfurrel II's goods are unloaded at Fort Collis and sent across land through the Delmer Woods in order to lighten to load of his ships while sailing the Mandals in case further storms hit. He sails 4 days through the Mandals before his ship is overtaken and he is taken captive by pirates... Telworth the Wise at their lead.
Telworth the Wise shows up in Errfulfel City with ransom demands for Cyfurrel II's release. Demands include: Imperial protections for South Ertund, weapons for South Ertund, pressure on mid-Ertund warlords, gold, silver, livestock, two ships, food, horses, and feed. Cyfurrel agrees to the ransom demands.
Cyfurrel orders Telworth's Cyfurrel II ransom demands to be gathered together at Port of Errfulfel.
