Cyfurrel travels to Greyfield Castle and negotiates Prince Fenwin's and Lynn's release with King Jauford Hollwick.
King Hollwick agrees to release Fenwin under guarantee from Cyfurrel that Hollwick's son, Jorge, will take the throne of Greyfield or his family will rule Greyfield otherwise after his death. Cyfurrel also pays a ransom of gold and silk.
Prince Fenwin and Lynn are released to Cyfurrel's custody.
Cyfurrel and Fenwin travel to Trefel. Lynn returns to Errfulfel City.
In the face of labor shortages and inability to meet tax quotas, Dershwin sells his manor to another lord. He pays rent for the manor house and 30 acres, employing a single sharecropper family to work the land.
Dershwin leaves Ilya and Nevil at his manor, taking Dulfen and Kergin to Ortund to pursue business opportunities.
Dershwin rents a small warehouse and front office in Ortund and buys a single small sea barge.

Cyfurrel officially recognizes Damien as King of Trefel, declaring it to be a client state to the Errfulfel Empire.
Cyfurrel returns to Errfulfel City.
Lord Manfer, controlling all six Anduel council seats, votes himself as King of Anduel.
Dershwin sails the Flood Plains coast with his sons Dulfen and Kergin buying bargain grain and feed from coastal settlements and farms with silver coinage he acquired in Enhold. The coins are overvalued in the Flood Plains due to a shortage and the requirement of use by the Errfulfel Empire. Dershwin stockpiles the purchased grain in his rented Ortund warehouse.
Prince Fenwin, after failing to find productive employment in Trefel, joins his wife in Errfulfel City.
Cyfurrel re-initiates Myron III's census system, replacing most of the remaining census agents.

Damien II marries Princess Ina of Canfuldel.
Leopuld Damienson is born.
Dershwin successfully sells off most of his stockpiled grain and feed during the winter. He profits off the widespread harvest and labor shortages in the region- the exact same problem that forced him to initially sell of his land.
Lord Manfer, the King of Anduel, reorganizes the Anduel lords, violently replacing outspoken opponents to his rule with members of his own family or trusted associates and lords.

Cyfurrel promotes continental trade, establishing trade houses in Errfulfel City that buy exotic goods with gold.
Dulfen and Galina travel to Dershwin Manor near Kern Tower to look after Ilya and manage the land.
Nevil travels to Ortund, joining Dershwin and Kergin.
Dershwin hires an additional boat out of Ortund.
Kergin commands Nevil and two hired hands in the family owned boat while Dershwin commands the hired boat. Both boats buy up grain and feed along the Flood Plains Coast.
Dulfund is born.
Tom is born. Son of Ermmel.
Fenwin leads an expedition to the Havrik Islands. He travels down the Errfulfel River from Errfulfel City and across the Trepid Inlet to Delco where they briefly pause to prepare for the bulk of the intercontinental journey. His son Pavel travels with him.
Fenwin's Havrik expedition continues from Delco to Gent then across the Ganmek Ocean destined for Fenmol Shrek. The ships end up astray from the intended course, barely making it across the Kerfey Sea before running out of supplies and arriving at Jornmul Island. The expedition continues on to Dollean and then finally to the Havriks.
Fenwin establishes a small ship base on the northern tip of Big Havrik but finds trading less than satisfactory. The complete lack of local infrastructure or a cohesive societal organization prevents large scale goods procurement.
Native Big Havrik tribes force Fenwin off the island. Without proper supplies for the full return voyage Fenwin is forced to direct the expedition to Dollean.
Gorden is born.

Dershwin returns to his manor and wife.
King Lord Manfer, facing complaint and dissent from Anduel lords, strips Telworth of his position as Warden of Aaron's Hold.
Telworth continues profiting from his six fishing ships.
Nevil sails the Flood Plains coast buying up grain and feed.
Kergin travels to Delco and takes a job, while also renting return space, on an ocean ship bound for Gent.
Anduel lords victim to Telworth's seizure of ships complain once more to King Lord Manfer demanding compensation and retribution for their losses. The King ignores their demands indicating Telworth's loss of title was punishment enough and sufficient in stopping him from using authority to seize any more ships.
Kergin arrives in Gent after a single stop at Trandeck Cliffs.
Kergin is unable to close the deal on a purchase of Gent trade goods in time before the ship he came on leaves without him, ten days after his arrival.
Kergin falls in love with a Gent trader's daughter, Anya.
Kergin flees Gent with Anya to Jorra. They live off of the money Dershwin gave Kergin to buy Gent trade goods with.
Lord Gorenfold joins Telworth at Aaron's Hold as an adviser.
Pursued by hunters, Kergin and Anya take flight again and flee to King Gall Port.
