Construction on the Vesop Casot School is slow and constantly delayed due to the harsh conditions in the Vesop Woods.
Rupert leads a force against another north Vesop warlord. Rupert's side is victorious, taking many prisoners and claiming control of most of the north Vesop Woods.
Much of the mid/north Vesop Woods peoples align themselves with Rupert. He has a reputation of a fierce woodsman warlord- raiding Greyfield fiefs with unrelenting ferocity. Some people refer to Rupert as 'King of Vesop' or the 'Vesop Warlord'
Further campaigning extends Rupert's command to around 60 miles south of the Torreson Casot School and all the way east through the Vesop Woods to the mountains.
Rupert titles himself King of Vesop.
King Rupert turns to his southern neighbor lords seeking aid in a war against Lord Almer. The lords decline.

Fenwin is driven out of Rupert Fief by Jorge's forces.
Cyfurrel agrees to only mediate the situation between Prince Fenwin and King Hollwick if Jauford Hollwick surrenders Vesop to Fenwin - otherwise he will let them fight it out as they see fit. Cyfurrel stands by his promise to assure the Hollwick line control of Greyfield, but refuses to make any such promise regarding Vesop.
Many Vesop people turn to Fenwin for support during the winter in face of grain shortages- support he is able to provide.
With resources fading and support scarce, Vern leads Fenwin's men on a last ditch attempt to gain an edge in Vesop in a foray against a Greyfield force commanded by Prince Jorge on the east bank of the River Grey near the Torreson Casot School. Fenwin remains, injured, at Fort Rupert. Vern's 450 men face off against Prince Jorge and 670 men. Vern is ultimately victorious in battle, his Vesop woodsmen carrying the day against Jorge's militia force. Prince Jorge is captured but dies from a wound on the battlefield before ever being presented to Vern.

Fenwin convinces Lord Trefmott to accept limited Greyfield import contracts from Teymon with the Teymon Herber Trade House through Herber for silk and Merrod ale in King Garret's name.
The Vesop Trade House and Teymon Herber Trade House manage to earn more combined wealth for the year than the entirety of Vesop's collected taxes, to Pavel and Herber's delight.
