Dershwin is awarded a small manor with several hundred workable acres about 12 miles west of Kern Tower in the Flood Plains. Two dozen sharecropper families and several other services families are already established on the land.

Dershwin travels to Ortund to buy favor from the King of Kern in exchange for proposed service against Ertund bandits.
Dershwin returns home a month after a month, having never managing to gain an audience with the King.

The King of Kern dies during the fighting in Enhold.
Dershwin backs a west Kern lord, Lord Merklew, in the King's absence. Merklew successfully reigns in control of the region.
Most of the Kern lords follow Merklew's lead and agree on submission to the Cyfurrel threat.
Dershwin travels north to Enhold with Merklew and other Kern lords and swears allegiance to Cyfurrel.

Dulfen and Galina travel to Dershwin Manor near Kern Tower to look after Ilya and manage the land.

Nevil retires from the Imperial military and returns to Dershwin Manor.
Kergin travels by land to Dershwin Manor.
Dershwin almost refused audience with his son, Kergin. Dulfen convinces his father to meet with Kergin. Kergin informs his family of Anya and Ilanya in Ortund and leave his father with a large sum of Andual gold and Errfulfel coins.
Kergin travels with Anya and Ilanya to Dershwin manor.
Kergin is married to Anya at Dershwin Manor.
Kergin leaves Anya and Ilanya with his family at Dershwin Manor and travels to the coast of the Flood Plains.
