Full Timeline
Myron II leads an army of 3,000 Northmen and 28,000 Drap natives (6,000 from the South Wood, 12,000 from Callouse, 3,000 from South Wood River Basin, 7,000 from Penbrooke) into the Midlands to rescue his brother, Drenund. Diplomacy is NOT a tactic used. Myron II takes 10,000 casualties but inflicts over 18,000 casualties to the midlanders over a three month campaign in the Tanhurst Plains. Three main battles are fought, one in the first month and two in the third month.
The Myron Empire lords respond to Myron II's wealth and manpower demands: the Midlands lords send 5,000 men and 6 pounds of gold. The South Wood lords send 2,000 men and 375 pounds of gold. The Callouse Marshes lords send 5,000 men and 6 pounds of gold. The Penbrooke lords send 4,500 men and 100 pounds of gold (37.5 extra). The South Wood River Basin send 2,000 men and 100 pounds of gold (275 short). The Nazreth Valley sends 1000 men and 500 pounds of gold. Imperial Ertund lords deliver 8,000 men, no gold. Lords int he Tortund Valley send an additional 300 pounds of gold in support (tribute).
19,500 men and 1381 pounds of gold is collected in total. The payment nearly bankrupts many lords of gold and manpower, but in the face of Myron II's idle army of nearly 20,000 Drap and Northmen, there was little choice in the matter.
