Greater Region
Tortund Valley (NA - NA)
Tundra region against the Frozen North.
Errferrund dies as a baby in the Tortund Valley.
Ferrund the Tall, fueled by Northmen seeking adventure, battle, and a way to support families back home in the Tortund Valley, leads his force from the Cander Woods deeper into the Drap Expanse, towards the Callouse Marshes.
Myron travels to Danfurrel Keep. It is his first time out of the Tortund Valley.
Myron makes peace with much of Penbrooke in the face of dwindling manpower and support from the Tortund Valley. Many of his core Northmen fighters are or have returned home to the Tortund Valley as wealthy men, seeing no reason to continue fighting in Drap.
Myron travels to the Tortund Valley to muster support and gather more Northmen troops.
Myron's tribal allies spread their influence throughout the Nazreth Valley. The cultural similarities of the mountain men match Myron's Tortund influences well.
Myron II sends his younger brother, Drenund, tot he Tortund Valley with tribute and trade goods for the Northmen lords.
Drenund is waylaid and captured near Lake Favrel while en route to the Tortund Valley.
The Myron Empire lords respond to Myron II's wealth and manpower demands: the Midlands lords send 5,000 men and 6 pounds of gold. The South Wood lords send 2,000 men and 375 pounds of gold. The Callouse Marshes lords send 5,000 men and 6 pounds of gold. The Penbrooke lords send 4,500 men and 100 pounds of gold (37.5 extra). The South Wood River Basin send 2,000 men and 100 pounds of gold (275 short). The Nazreth Valley sends 1000 men and 500 pounds of gold. Imperial Ertund lords deliver 8,000 men, no gold. Lords int he Tortund Valley send an additional 300 pounds of gold in support (tribute). 19,500 men and 1381 pounds of gold is collected in total. The payment nearly bankrupts many lords of gold and manpower, but in the face of Myron II's idle army of nearly 20,000 Drap and Northmen, there was little choice in the matter.
Myron II falls ill, stalling his Trahbeck invasion planning. He travels under disguise to the Tortund Valley to rest and recover.
Myron II spends much of the year travelling the Tortund Valley meeting with Northmen lords. Much financial, manpower, and other resourceful support is acquired from the Tortund Valley, making friendly relations a top priority for the Myron Empire.
Myron II leaves the Tortund Valley, travelling south west through Merrod and into the Trefel Valley.
Grov and Dulth flee Penbrooke to the Tortund Valley
Cyfurrel the Younger, now also using the name Myron Cyfurrel, arrives at the Imperial Seat and challenges Frundhul for the Empire, citing his mother's more direct link to Myron II and Myron III. No formal 'rules of inheritance' had been established in the empire. The empires most base origins, the Tortund Valley, doesn't even use inheritance laws. Some parts of the eastern Drap Expanse do trace inheritance through daughters, though, expanding on Cyfurrel the Younger's legitimacy.
The Errfulfel Seat is completed in Errfulfel City. It is a fortified palace larger than any before. The palace and accompanying gardens are nearly as large as the original capital of Enhold. The palace even boasts a small zoo of exotic animals from as far away as Jaxillian. The palace houses a temple to the Pantheon deity Trebec (Trehfbeck in Tortund Valley, Febeck in north Drap, Trahbeck in east River Valley) the warrior god, the god of the winter hunt, the Jade god, and the protector of responsibility. The people of Trahbeck also claim Trebec was the first king of their lands. This creates conflict in the empire between the previously dominant Pantheon in competition to the newly widespread Mother Egu tenets.
The 2nd Errfulfel Championship is held at Champion's Hold. Nearly 620 participants from as far as Merrod and the Tortund Valley compete. The event is bogged down by the magnitude. 100, 100, 100, 100, 100, 60, 60 free for all melees. Top 16 receive 10 Myron Marks. Top 8 get 20 Myron Marks. top 4 get 40 Myron Marks. Top 2 receive 60 Myron Marks, the title Contender Champion of Errfulfel, and a pass for the next competition. The winner is titled Champion of Errfulfel, paid 100 Myron marks, and given land at Champion's Hold. 16 men are killed. Fat Dorluk of the north Midlands near Dannap Passages takes the title Champion of Errfulfel. Lord Krandor of Trefel takes the title Contender Champion of Errfulfel.
