North Ertund quickly submits to the Errfulfel Empire in lieu of fighting Armies XI, XII, and XIII. Leopuld II, Jormal, and Bale use the armies to fully secure the region.
Yoland raises Army XIV in the South West.
Yoland and Army XIV relieve Army VII's position at Giant's Rise. Cyfurrel III leads Army VII towards Teshren.
Crenhallson dies. His son, Lord Crenhall, takes command of Army I at Fort Crenhall in his place
Jormal is kidnapped out of North Ertund while leading Army XII towards Teshren. He is taken to Penbrooke, tried and executed at Mendhall for crimes in the Ertund River Basin - namely his looting of the Casot School.
Cyfurrel II appoints Dran in command of Army XII.
Cyfurrel II has Cyfurrel III, Leopuld II, and Bale invade Penbrooke with Armies VII, XI, and XIII.
Cyfurrel III occupies the north of Penbrooke with Army VII.
Army XI, lead by Leopuld II, gets bogged down fighting in Mendhall Woods
Army XIII is engaged by a Penbrooke force with superior numbers. The battle is costly but Bale is victories. Despite the loss Penbrooke remains defiant.
Leopuld II becomes extremely ill. Army XI fortifies itself in the Mendhall Woods; crippled from a lack of upper command.
Army VII engages several Penbrooke militia forces. Cyfurrel III wins the battles easily but makes little progress securing more land south.
Bale holds Army XIII's position by the Penbrooke border for the winter, sending for reinforcements from Imperial Ertund.
A Penbrooke force manages to capture a fief in the Callouse Marshes. Callouse lords respond by driving them out with their own forces.
Cyfurrel II instructs Gernoth to take Army III into north Penbrooke to help Cyfurrel III and Army VII make a push south.
Damien arrives at the Mendhall Woods with a small escort force and takes command of Army XI, relieving Leopuld II's command.
Leopuld II is too fragile and ill to move and remains in the Mendhall Woods. Damien organizes Army XI's fortifications into a proper position: Donwicker Fort.
Bale's Army XIII makes progress north into Penbrooke, arriving on the south side of the Penbrooke River at Mendhall. Around 35,000 mostly Penbrooke peasants hold the city in defiance.
Gernoth's Army III and Cyfurrel III's Army VII push south on parallel paths. Gernoth takes Penbrooke Island but suffered heavy casualties during the river crossing. Cyfurrel III faces a mercenary force of several thousand riders out of the Dolle Plateau. The battle is a major loss for both sides. Cyfurrel III begins withdrawing to the west.
Leopuld II's condition improves. He takes command of the small garrison at Donwicker Fort allowing Damien to take Army XI to clear the Mendhall Woods of enemy forces.
Hander Fermothson raises an additional 3,000 soldiers out of the Callouse Marshes and South Wood, increasing Army IX and the Danfurrel Keep garrison to 8,000 strong.
Cyfurrel III leaves Army VII in western Penbrooke and visits a number of Teshren lords for negotiations while the army recovers strength and awaits reinforcements.
Gernoth swings Army III west into western Penbrooke taking a growing enemy force from behind, destroying it before it can launch an attack on the weakened Army VII.
Many Penbrooke troops flee Mendhall Woods into the Dolle Plateau. Damien, Army XI are continually harrassed by insurgent forces crossing out of the Dolle Plateau.
Dran moves Army XII to the far north of North Ertund, cutting off insurgent troop movements using the area to get into south Penbrooke.
Cyfurrel III returns to Army VII and uses the refreshed force to execute a massive sweep and roundup of insurgent forces in north east Penbrooke.
South West conspirator lords meet at Fort Dravel.
Penbrooke forces destroy Yfren's Memorial.
Gorden leaves a small garrison in South Ertund and travels to Penbrooke with Army VI.
Gernoth has Army III join Army XIII at Mendhall to help Bale's siege.
Gorden arrives with Army VI at Mendhall. He encircles the city in conjunction with Gernoth's Army III and Bale's Army XIII.
Cyfurrel III sends word to his father, Cyfurrel II, that Penbrooke is mostly conquered and all but Mendhall has submitted to Errfulfel rule.
Cyfurrel II summons Gernoth and Bale to bring Army III and Army XIII to Errfulfel City.
Cyfurrel III hires 6,000 men out of west Penbrooke and the South Wood to aid Gorden and Army VI in the continued siege of Mendhall.
On the way to Errfulfel City, Gernoth takes Army III to Fort Victory then into the north Flood Plains to put down a small rebellion.
Mendhall surrenders to Gorden. He has Army VI garrison the city maintaining an unprecedented amount of order and restraint. Looting is minimal and Gorden lets the peasants off without punishment. Only three nobles were in the city and are executed.
Cyfurrel II travels to Maynor Hall in Trefel to meet with Prince Leopuld of Trefel, King Damien II of Trefel, King Galvin of Donwick, King Loken of Casot's Rest, Prince Elwick of the South West, King Hemfall of Ironhall and King Rentour of Nihlfen.
King Loken, Prince Elwick, and King Hemfall convince Prince Leopuld to join in a conspiracy against Cyfurrel II. Leopuld is pressed to agree to betray his friend, Cyfurrel II, for the good of the people of Errfulfel. Leopuld forces the other lords to allow him one last attempt to sway Cyfurrel II in a manner suitable to the lords.
After resting and hosting a festival at Errfulfel City, Army XIII and Bale marches towards Trefel.
Leopuld attempts to negotiate with Cyfurrel II to surrender powers to local lords. Cyfurrel II refuses. Leopuld attempts to assassinate Cyfurrel II but fails- before guards are able to interrupt, the conspiring South West lords take Cyfurrel II (wounded by a dagger thrust near the kidney). Leopuld objects, but the lords are able to get Cyfurrel II away.
Leopuld makes the motions to raise his army in Trefel.
King Hemfall and Prince Elwick move Cyfurrel II to Galvin Hall in Donwick with King Galvin's permission.
Leopuld moves a Trefel force towards the border with Donwick.
Tom, supporting his brother King Galvin, moves Army V to Galvin Hall.
Bale and Army XIII receive word of the attempt on Cyfurrel II's life while passing through north Greyfield. Bale has the army halt and awaits more information.
Cyfurrel II is tortured extensively and without mercy by agents of Galvin at Galvin Hall.
Under torture Cyfurrel II is forced to denounce the Pantheon and admit he worships the nature spirits of Tortund Valley. He is forced to give up all claims of power and authority and admit he was trying to destroy the Errfulfel Empire with his uncompromising militaristic ways.
The South West Conspirators, fearing news of an Imperial Army in Greyfield, send Cyfurrel II south and east, away from Galvin Hall. Galvin, Elwick, and Hemfall are unaware that the Imperial army is Army XIII and under command of Galvin's son, Bale. King Hemfall objects to sending Cyfurrel II to their powerbase, the South West, because Army XIV lead by Cyfurrel II's bastard son, Yoland, and Army I lead by Crenhall (of unknown allegiance to them) both hold strong presence there.
King Loken meets with Leopuld in Trefel. Leopuld stands his army down, convinced by Loken that he stands little chance against Tom's Army V. Loken also reminds Leopuld that he did participate in the conspiracy himself, anyways...
King Galvin discovers that Bale leads the imperial army in Greyfield (Army XIII) and recruits him to his side. The soldiers are hardly aware of what is going on and only informed that civil war is imminent.
Leopuld sends his Trefel army east into Canfuldel.
Yoland receives word of the uprising of South West lords. He moves Army XIV east.
Gernoth Maylon, in response to the kidnapping of Cyfurrel II, moves Army III to Cyfurrel City.
Lord Grant, in response to Cyfurrel II's kidnapping, holds Army X in place at Fort Victory.
Crenhall meets with King Galvin at Casot's Rest under assurance of safety from King Loken.
Crenhall returns to Valley of Giants and holds Army I in place; following a wait and see plan.
Yoland takes Elwick Hall with Army XIV, defeating a force of 8,000.
Cyfurrel II ends up at the Greyfield Casot School under the protective custody of Lord Gander Maylon.
News of the kidnapping of Cyfurrel II and River Valley uprisings reaches Penbrooke and Danfurrel Keep.
Army V and Army XIII lead by Tom and Bale respectively move to the South West.
Yoland withdraws Army XIV from Elwick Hall to Ironhall Keep and defeats King Hemfall's local army.
Gorden's Army VI, Cyfurrel III's Army VII, and Dran's Army XII encircle Damien, Leopuld II, and Army XI at Donwicker Fort. Damien and Leopuld II are taken captive by Cyfurrel III without bloodshed. Army XI is split and mixed into Armies VI, VII, and XII. Donwicker Fort is left abandoned.
Gorden leads Army VI to Danfurrel Keep.
Cyfurrel III takes Army VII to Errfulfel City.
Army XII and Dran remain in the North Ertund and Penbrooke regions.
Yoland withdraws Army XIV from Ironhall farther south and fortifies his troops for the winter, establishing Yoland Castle.
Bale occupies Ironhall Keep with Army XIII.
Army IV, lead by Hermoth, starts west towards Errfulfel City.
