<1451>
Cyfurrel II travels to Maynor Hall in Trefel to meet with Prince Leopuld of Trefel, King Damien II of Trefel, King Galvin of Donwick, King Loken of Casot's Rest, Prince Elwick of the South West, King Hemfall of Ironhall and King Rentour of Nihlfen.
King Loken, Prince Elwick, and King Hemfall convince Prince Leopuld to join in a conspiracy against Cyfurrel II. Leopuld is pressed to agree to betray his friend, Cyfurrel II, for the good of the people of Errfulfel. Leopuld forces the other lords to allow him one last attempt to sway Cyfurrel II in a manner suitable to the lords.
After resting and hosting a festival at Errfulfel City, Army XIII and Bale marches towards Trefel.
Leopuld attempts to negotiate with Cyfurrel II to surrender powers to local lords. Cyfurrel II refuses. Leopuld attempts to assassinate Cyfurrel II but fails- before guards are able to interrupt, the conspiring South West lords take Cyfurrel II (wounded by a dagger thrust near the kidney). Leopuld objects, but the lords are able to get Cyfurrel II away.
Leopuld makes the motions to raise his army in Trefel.
King Hemfall and Prince Elwick move Cyfurrel II to Galvin Hall in Donwick with King Galvin's permission.
Leopuld moves a Trefel force towards the border with Donwick.
Tom, supporting his brother King Galvin, moves Army V to Galvin Hall.
Bale and Army XIII receive word of the attempt on Cyfurrel II's life while passing through north Greyfield. Bale has the army halt and awaits more information.
Cyfurrel II is tortured extensively and without mercy by agents of Galvin at Galvin Hall.
Under torture Cyfurrel II is forced to denounce the Pantheon and admit he worships the nature spirits of Tortund Valley. He is forced to give up all claims of power and authority and admit he was trying to destroy the Errfulfel Empire with his uncompromising militaristic ways.
The South West Conspirators, fearing news of an Imperial Army in Greyfield, send Cyfurrel II south and east, away from Galvin Hall. Galvin, Elwick, and Hemfall are unaware that the Imperial army is Army XIII and under command of Galvin's son, Bale. King Hemfall objects to sending Cyfurrel II to their powerbase, the South West, because Army XIV lead by Cyfurrel II's bastard son, Yoland, and Army I lead by Crenhall (of unknown allegiance to them) both hold strong presence there.
King Loken meets with Leopuld in Trefel. Leopuld stands his army down, convinced by Loken that he stands little chance against Tom's Army V. Loken also reminds Leopuld that he did participate in the conspiracy himself, anyways...
King Galvin discovers that Bale leads the imperial army in Greyfield (Army XIII) and recruits him to his side. The soldiers are hardly aware of what is going on and only informed that civil war is imminent.
Leopuld sends his Trefel army east into Canfuldel.
Yoland receives word of the uprising of South West lords. He moves Army XIV east.
Gernoth Maylon, in response to the kidnapping of Cyfurrel II, moves Army III to Cyfurrel City.
Lord Grant, in response to Cyfurrel II's kidnapping, holds Army X in place at Fort Victory.
Crenhall meets with King Galvin at Casot's Rest under assurance of safety from King Loken.
Crenhall returns to Valley of Giants and holds Army I in place; following a wait and see plan.
Yoland takes Elwick Hall with Army XIV, defeating a force of 8,000.
Cyfurrel II ends up at the Greyfield Casot School under the protective custody of Lord Gander Maylon.
News of the kidnapping of Cyfurrel II and River Valley uprisings reaches Penbrooke and Danfurrel Keep.
Army V and Army XIII lead by Tom and Bale respectively move to the South West.
Yoland withdraws Army XIV from Elwick Hall to Ironhall Keep and defeats King Hemfall's local army.
Gorden's Army VI, Cyfurrel III's Army VII, and Dran's Army XII encircle Damien, Leopuld II, and Army XI at Donwicker Fort. Damien and Leopuld II are taken captive by Cyfurrel III without bloodshed. Army XI is split and mixed into Armies VI, VII, and XII. Donwicker Fort is left abandoned.
Gorden leads Army VI to Danfurrel Keep.
Cyfurrel III takes Army VII to Errfulfel City.
Army XII and Dran remain in the North Ertund and Penbrooke regions.
Yoland withdraws Army XIV from Ironhall farther south and fortifies his troops for the winter, establishing Yoland Castle.
Bale occupies Ironhall Keep with Army XIII.
Army IV, lead by Hermoth, starts west towards Errfulfel City.
