The 500 captives at Trandeck Cliffs are put to work for the city. The remaining 300 pirates in Dornal's custody (deemed to be the leaders or most influential in the pack, aside from those already executed) are taken inland to Fort Crenhall.
Gorden extracts information of Cyfurrel II's whereabouts from some of the captive pirates sent to Fort Crenhall by Dornal. To the surprise of all, they are lead to believe that Cyfurrel is actually being held over 1000 miles away at South Ertund, possibly in the Muhlfen Woods.
Cyfurrel orders all captive pirates executed. Mass executions take place on Crenhall, at Trandeck Cliffs, and at Fort Crenhall. Other pirates in captivity across the empire are also killed.
