Myron II sends his army north to the Midlands to face down a growing rebellious population.
Myron II leaves Penbrooke for the Nazreth Valley.
With the imperial army mostly gone, Murula and Vasslow come out of hiding in Mendhall.
Vasslow remains at the unofficial Casot school in Mendhall to study the Book of Casot, learning to read and write. Hiw mother, Murula, returns to the family's initial home near Ferrund's Fall.
